How to make this Crumbl Sugar Cookie Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350°F/177°C, and line two cookie pans with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese for about 5-6 minutes, until fluffy and lighter in color.
Mix in the eggs, vanilla, and almond extract one at a time. At this point, the mixture will look very wet like cake batter.
Beat in the flour, baking soda, and salt, until incorporated.
Use a large cookie scooper or ice cream scoop, and roll the dough into balls. Carefully press it down to 3/4 inch thickness.
Bake for 13-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Cool pans on cooling racks for 15 minutes, before transferring the cookies to finish cooling on the cooling rack.
To make the icing, place the butter into a large bowl and beat with your mixer for about three minutes until completely smooth and airy.
Add confectioner’s sugar, vanilla, almond, and 1 tablespoon of milk. Beat for two minutes on medium speed. You can add another tablespoon of milk if the icing isn’t smooth, or if it seems to be too thick.
Continue to beat on high for four minutes.
Use a knife or offset spatula to spread the frosting onto the top of the cookies.
And, that’s it!

Notes
Before adding the dry ingredients, the dough will look like cake batter. It will come together after adding the dry ingredients. The dough should NOT be loose or sticky.
These cookies don’t really spread, but they will be a puffy and fluffy cookie
The amount of milk being added to the cream cheese icing will be determined by the weather. For climates with more moisture in the air (or if its raining while making this) you will only need 1tbsp of milk. For drier climates you will probably need both.
