Description
This compote is great on pavlovas, meringues, ice creams, pancakes and waffles.

Ingredients
- 3 cups berries (any kind will work)
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the mixed frozen berries and sugar. You can use any kind of berries for the compote. I love the visual texture of mixed berries, so I went that route.
Simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the mixture is reduced about half and slightly syrupy.
Serve warm. Sauce reheats well.
