Simple Berry Compote

Quick and easy to make Simple Berry Compote. Great to use on pavlovas, meringues, ice creams, pancakes, and waffles. You can use any kind of berries for the compote.

Supplies

  • Measuring cups, spoons, and measuring scale
  • Large spoon
  • Sauce pan

Instructions on How to Make This Simple Berry Compote

In a saucepan over medium heat, add the mixed frozen berries and sugar. You can use any kind of berries for the compote. I love the visual texture of mixed berries, so I went that route.

Simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the mixture is reduced about half and slightly syrupy. Serve warm. Sauce reheats well.
