Description

This Honey Beer Bread Recipe is easily made without yeast. It has a medium body and chewy texture. Beer bread takes on a subtle beer flavor, and as you swap out the beer you will get different flavors. This bread is delicious on it’s own, but my Homeade Honey Butter tastes soooo good with this Honey Beer Bread Recipe.

Scale

Ingredients

  • 3 cups (377 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon (14 grams) baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon (8 grams) salt
  • 1/4 (85 grams) cup honey
  • 1 bottle (12 ounces) beer
  • 1/4 cup (55 grams) butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add the honey and beer and incorporate until just combined.

Melt the butter. Pour half of the butter into the 9×5 inch bread pan. Use a pastry brush to spread the butter on the bottom and sides of the pan.

Pour the dough into the pan, and brush the remaining butter evenly on top of the dough.

Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

Immediately remove from pan and place on a cooling rack to cool.
