Tips to make the best brownies
When adding the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder, gently fold them into the mixture until just combined.
Avoid over mixing the batter or your brownies will become dense and hard while baking.
For the softest brownies, make sure to watch the brownies while baking. You want to remove them from the oven after the top is just set.
How do you get the crinkle tops on brownies?
Whisking room temperature eggs for a full minute allows the air bubbles to rise to the top and get trapped under the top crust of the brownies, forming the beautiful crinkle crust.
If you forgot to bring your eggs to room temperature, here’s a little hack for you: Before cracking your eggs, take a large bowl of warm water and gently set the eggs in it for about five minutes.
How do you get brownies to have a shiny crust?
Combining the sugar, melted butter, and chocolate that is still warm will create a reaction when the sugar is warming up during the baking process to create a shiny crust on top of the brownies.
